 2022 Preview 


       The University Charter School  will field a football team for the first time this fall. They will be led by head football coach Sam Mosley as they prepare for their initial season on the gridiron.




       The will be under the direction of new head football coach Sam Mosley as they enter the 2022 season.  

       The University Charter School  will play in Class 1A region three during the 2022 season. The will have a difficult time competing in Class 1A with a young team in their initial season. The have one of the toughest schedules in Class 1A. Their opponents had a combined record of 59-49 last season. That ranks 6th in Class 1A and 89th in the AHSAA.

       It will be an uphill battle for the if they hope to grab one of the four playoff slots in region three this season.

       The open the 2022 season at home against non-region opponent Hubbertville on Friday, August 19 at Tiger Stadium. Last year the Hubbertville Lions finished with an overall record of 8-3 and in second place in Class 1A region six. The Lions lost in the second round of the Class 1A playoffs to Wadley by a score of 28-14.

       University Charter School and Hubbertville have met a total of 2 times on the football field. The have a 1-1-0 record against the Lions. They last met in with
